Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Nomady platform operated by Nomady Sp. z o.o. ("Nomady", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using any part of our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About Nomady
Nomady is an online marketplace that connects tenants, students and internationals living in Warsaw to buy, sell and exchange second-hand goods and to find flexible work opportunities.
2. Eligibility & Account Registration
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Nomady.
- You must provide accurate, current and complete information when registering.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You may not create more than one account or share your account with others.
- You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at legal@thenomady.com.
3. Content Rules
3.1 Permitted Content
You may post listings for legal second-hand goods and honest services. All content must be accurate, not misleading, and comply with Polish and EU law.
3.2 Prohibited Content
You must not post or transmit content that:
- Is illegal, counterfeit, stolen, or subject to export restrictions.
- Infringes intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Contains spam, misleading pricing, or fraudulent offers.
- Is hateful, discriminatory, harassing or threatening.
- Violates any third party's privacy or personal data rights.
- Includes drugs, weapons, alcohol sold to minors, or other regulated goods without authorisation.
4. Buying and Selling Responsibilities
4.1 Sellers
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your listing, including description, condition and price.
- You must own or have the right to sell any item you list.
- You must honour a sale once a buyer has agreed to purchase.
4.2 Buyers
- You are responsible for reviewing listings carefully before purchase.
- Nomady promotes safe local in-person handovers across Warsaw.
5. Payments and Security
Browsing and basic account creation are free. Payments are processed securely by licensed providers (e.g. Stripe). Nomady does not store payment card details.
6. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Warsaw, Poland.
